She missed the shot.
Now she has to fight to stay on the court.Twelve-year-old Aly Lee-Andrews blew her big chance at the National School Games, but she’s not ready to give up on basketball yet.
When Southsea’s junior girls’ squad is left short of players, Aly scrambles to recruit a brand-new lineup... even if it includes a sharpshooting netballer still learning to dribble, a tall nail artist who doesn’t want to break a nail, and a streetballer who’s unimpressed by school teams.
Now they have to turn mismatched talent into teamwork. If they can make it through every clash and fumble, they just might show Southsea—and themselves—what they’re capable of.
