Synopsis:
In this wonderfully illustrated picture book, a cat who puts on a hat finds the need to also put on glasses, then have a case for the glasses, then a jacket⊠and the list goes on. Until the overwhelmed cat decides that it is better to just not wear a hat in the first place!
About the Author:
Victoria PĂ©rez EscrivĂĄ was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1964. She graduated with a degree in Musical Education from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, and subsequently studied literary analysis and creation in the Madrid Writers' Workshop with Ăngel Zapata. She has worked as a scriptwriter on the television series Los simuladores or SMS. As a writer (and sometime illustrator), her work has been published by the most important companies in Spain, amongst them, two books with Anaya Infantil y Juvenil: Ay! (with illustrations by Claudia Ranucci, 1st Prize for Illustrated Book, Ciudad de Alicante, 2004) and Antes, cuando Venecia no existĂa (2002). In 2010 she received 1st Prize in the XXIX Vila d'Ibi Children's Fiction Contest with her book Cuando mi hermano se subiĂł al armario.
About the Illustrator:
Ester GarcĂa was born in CĂĄceres, Spain, in 1984. As long as she can remember, she always loved childrenÂŽs books. After graduating in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, Spain, she moved to Madrid to continue her studies of design in New Technologies Professional Centre, CICE. Ester paints mostly with pencil, watercolors and acrylics.Â
